What type of ritual are you sharing?
Morning routine
Walk us through your ritual step by step.
My mornings begin with the sound of tiny footsteps (approx 6:30am) and a sweet five-year-old voice asking to snuggle. He climbs into bed, and we linger for ten cozy minutes reading books while my husband delivers coffee like room service (he’s a keeper).
We lounge until 7:30 or so when our middler schooler wakes up.
8:00am - Showers are optional, but self-care is not. I squeeze in fresh celery-kale juice, indulge in my favorite skincare, and on ambitious days add tinted moisturizer and mascara just to feel a little extra human.
8:30ish - Once we officially launch the day, it’s straight into our favorite family ritual: big, nourishing breakfasts made together. Omelets, pancakes, and yogurt parfaits on repeat - mornings are our sacred time to connect before school bells and work deadlines take over.
9:00am - Then it’s backpacks, drop-offs, a sneaky workout (9:45-10:45am), and a full sprint through emails and to-dos before preschool pickup mode is activated again.
Why is this ritual meaningful to you?
Mornings like this matter to me because they set the tone for everything that follows. They remind me that presence is as important as productivity, that connection fuels my energy more than urgency, and that the simplest rhythms — coffee, sunlight, movement, and shared meals - are what anchor our family in a busy world.
Any favorite products, tools, or resources you use in your ritual?
Nama juicer, Tata Harper repairative moisturizer, Ogee tinted foundation, Purity coffee, a kids book called Happy by Nicola Edwards (my sons fav), Branch Basics beeswax candle
